Have You Seen the New Graffiti Mural in Yakima on Lincoln Ave? It's Pretty Cool
There have been some really cool art murals popping up all over town in Yakima lately! What a way to showcase the talent that resides there, by creating a graffiti mural that we actually like to see on the side of a building.

There are so many taggers getting a bad rep in town because of the typical associating graffiti with gangs, but there is so much more to these special murals that have been created recently.
One such mural is on the side of the Dollar Stretcher building on Lincoln Ave (201 N 5th Ave). That particular set of murals was created by the All Mujeres art mural project. It brought together many selections of art that were created and painted by women of color, who typically are shut out of the art collective community. If you haven't had a chance to see these magnificent works of art, some including graffiti elements, I highly suggest you take a drive over there and take a look!
Today, I stopped by the Safeway gas station at 5th Ave and Lincoln to fill up my gas tank (It was $75, the most I've ever had to spend on a tank of gas but that is another story for another day), and when I was taking off, I spotted this new graffiti art mural had gone up!
A group named GrafKats claims responsibility for this unique and fun piece that they did on the other side of the All Mujeres mural. Check out the galleries of both murals below!
