NASA's Kayla Barron Posted Amazing Pictures From Outer Space

As a Richland Washington native, she's waited over five months for the Tri-Cities to come into view from the International Space Station.

Here is what Kayla posted about trying to spot the Tri-Cities from outer space:

It took me five months in space, but I was finally able to snap some photos of my hometown, Richland, WA. It can be hard to spot and is often been covered by clouds, but I was able to follow the Columbia River all the way from the coast to the Tri-Cities.

Check Out Tri-Cities Washington From Outer Space

I think the biggest surprise that I spotted in the photos is that it really puts into perspective what a little planet in the middle of the universe we live in. It's humbling to see these photos and also how amazing Kayla must feel as she looks down on our little spot in the world.

Elon Musk can fly to space for a bit but Richland's Kayla Barron gets to enjoy that view every morning for the last six months. It truly is amazing and thanks to Kayla Barron for sharing this amazing slice our your life with us.

Kayla Barron is set to return to Earth at the end of the month and I like others can't wait to hear about her mission and her adventure.
