TOP 10 Family Restaurants in Yakima
City of Yakima is pretty much a family-oriented town. You'll see big families small families but definitely families with lots of kids. The covid pandemic has changed the way a lot of us with families go out to eat including where we take our families when it's family night out.
Before the pandemic hit in 2020, the busiest place in town where you would always see a lot of families going out to dinner at any night of the week was Red Robin, located on West Nob Hill Boulevard. As life is painstakingly getting back to normal, I've noticed Red Robin is starting to get crowded again.
Here is a list of some of the best places in town where families can go out to eat. In Yakima.

This place is so popular because all the servers would come by your table and sing Happy Birthday to you. I will forever love their Bleu cheeseburger and Jojo fries!
Applebee's Grill + Bar, 1505 E Washington Ave, Union Gap, WA 98903
My daughter loves to play on the portable computer games they have at each table. For a small fee, kids can play games while the food is cooking in the kitchen. I love their chicken and baked potato meal and Willow loves getting Mac n cheese, broccoli, and yogurt + strawberries from the kid's meal.

Families love to eat here for some home-style meals and their assortment of pies.

You can get some extremely good pizza at this joint. It is very family-friendly. You might even walk in and see kids birthday parties popping off in the banquet area.

Families love eating here because of the zen-like atmosphere and phenomenal sushi. My family loves ordering their Avocado rolls and California rolls. It is a special treat to eat in the pit (I call it the pit but it's not an actual pit).
Valley Italian Pizza and Pasta, 2304 S 1st St unit b, Yakima, WA 98903
