3 Popular Oregon Restaurants With Straight 10/10 Reviews on TV
If you've ever been to Oregon and tried hard to find a place to eat, keep these three restaurants and eateries in mind. They are so popular that you might run into a long line of other people waiting to get in, but the wait will likely be worth it.
How do we know eating at these 3 popular restaurants will be worth the wait? Because they were each featured on on multiple tv shows and each of them got straight ten out of ten reviews from the hosts! Yes, 10/10! That seems hard to come by and only THREE restaurants in all of Oregon made the cut. Here they are, enjoy and bon appetit!
1.
Bunk Sandwiches
- 7333 SW Bridgeport Rd, Portland
- 1028 SE Water Ave, Suite 130, Portland
Also known as Bunk Bar and Bunk Beer Hall, this restaurant/dive bar received 10/10 reviews on TV. Yelp customers and the host of Best Thing I Ever Ate, rave about their Pork Belly Cubano, Meatball Parmesano Hero, and burgers. Even their phone number is hip, cool, and weird: 509-EAT-BUNK.
Oregon’s Bunk Bar Sandwiches has been spotlighted on these three television shows:
- Best Thing I Ever Ate
- Diners, Drive-ins and Dives
- Adam Richman's Best Sandwich
I’m not here for the tater tots, I’m here for the sandwiches! I can’t wait to wrap my tastebuds around their Soppressata. It comes with “fresh mozzarella, basil, tomato, red onion, shredded iceberg & pepperoncini mayo.” YUM dot com.
2.
Pine Street Biscuits
- 1100 SE Division #100, Portland
- 1717 NW 23rd Ave, Portland
- 2204 NE Alberta, Portland
I got the pleasure to dine at Pine Street Biscuits on a girls’ trip last year. I had discovered it on a Google search and told my friends about the menu. We were all salivating and couldn’t wait to experience some of their food. Unfortunately, the time we visited just so happened to coincide with the hottest weather day Portland has ever had in history! The manager of Pine Street Biscuits walked out to the small crowd of people waiting in line for their brunch. He told us that it was too hot to be working in the kitchen and they were going to be closing up early to respect their chefs and cooks. Fortunately for me and my girls’ trip crew, they cut the line off after us and said we could would be the last customers to come inside to eat that day.
I had The McIsley fried chicken and pickles sandwich and an order of their biscuits and gravy. Damn, that was one of the best foodie experiences I’ve ever had. I’m definitely can see why it got 10/10 reviews on TV!
Pine Street Biscuits has been highlighted on the following television shows:
- Diners, Drive-ins and Dives
- Food Paradise
- Unique Eats
3.
Voodoo Doughnut
- 22 SW 3rd Avenue, Portland, OR
- 1501 NE Davis Street, Portland, OR
- 14620 SE McLoughlin Blvd, Milwaukie, OR
- 8203 NE Vancouver Mall Dr, Vancouver, WA
Shortly after I moved to Washington state, I began to hear locals raving about driving over to Portland and bringing back a pink and black box of Voodoo Doughnuts. I didn’t understand what the rave was all about until I got to try one for myself. They are freaking delicious, I will admit.
“Voodoo Doughnut - The magic is in the hole!” - Voodoo Doughnut
I don’t, however, appreciate the long wait just to get a box. They can keep that mess. I give their long lines of tourists trying to snag up all the doughnuts a straight 0/0. Zero stars. Do not pass go. Voodoo Doughnuts, meanwhile, gets a smooth 10/10 from me and the following television shows:
- Best Bars in America
- Man vs Food
- No Reservations
- Food Paradise
- Unique Eats
