Your Next Pet? Meet the Skinny Pig

A typical trip to the pet store yesterday to purchase cat food lead to the discovery of an interesting pet that I haven't seen before.

It's called a "skinny pig." I think the little guy looks like a miniature hippo.

Upon further investigation on the internet, I found that the skinny pig is part of the guinea pig family. It's not a breed of guinea pigs, but a category. There is also another hairless guinea pig called the Baldwin. Skinny pigs' temperament, intelligence and personality are pretty much the same as a guinea pig with hair.
