Yakima’s Biggest Yard Sale Opens for Business May 13
You know it's spring when the yard sale signs start blooming all over town -- and the biggest one of all is about to pop!
It's Yakima's Biggest Yard Sale, coming Saturday, May 13, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Perry Technical Institute parking lot, 2011 W. Washington Ave.
The annual event -- sponsored by Goodwill of Yakima, Selah and Ellensburg -- includes 90
booths, selling everything from clothing to kitchenware, tools to trail bikes. You could probably even find a new kitchen sink if you looked hard enough.
Admission is $3 per person or $2 with a can of non-perishable food for Northwest Harvest's bank.
Last year, the sale drew around 3,000 visitors -- so get there early if you're buying, and reserve your booth space quick if you're selling!
To reserve a sale booth, call 509-972-3461. That's our front desk and they'll set you up. Any money you make is yours to keep! Anything you don't sell (NOT counting garbage, of course) can be left as donations for Goodwill.
(Vendors, by the way, need to be ready to sell by 7:30 a.m., and they need to have all their vehicles out by 7:45.)
So don't waste your gas driving all over town hunting for finds -- you'll find them all in one spot.
We'd love to see you there!
