While everybody is suffering through one of the most brutal heatwaves in the Yakima Valley in recent memory, some have it even rougher.
Yakima's homeless don't have much at their disposal to stay cooled and the temperatures could be, not only uncomfortable but, downright deadly.

The good people at Camp Hope, Yakima's homeless encampment that was established in 2017, are asking for your donations to help keep those that are already suffering enough a bit more comfortable during this wickedly hot summer.

Imagine having no air conditioning and living in a sweltering tent. Doesn't sound very pleasant, does it? Even if you can take some empty milk jugs, fill them with water and stick them in your freezer for a few hours it would definitely help!

Camp Hope runs with very little funding and relies heavily on good-hearted volunteers. Won't you please consider helping out our fellow Yakimans?
