
Yakima Pride Ramps Up The Rockin’ Celebration This Weekend
Yakima Pride is celebrated everyday, all year long, but in June it gets amped up. This weekend it's being cranked to eleven with the Yakima Pride Festival & Parade taking place at the Naches Parkway (along N. Naches Ave, between E. Yakima Ave & E. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
With so many things to do this weekend through out the valley, (besides Father's Day & Juneteenth Celebrations, Union Gap's Old Town Days, & Sort 4 The Cause in Sunnyside, just to name a few) Yakima Pride Festival & Parade is set to rock out with live music and drag performances all day long.

Yakima Pride Parade
The Yakima Pride Parade looks to kick off at 10am and start at the intersection of W. Yakima Ave & S. 16th Ave. The trek will then head east along Yakima Ave and ending at Naches Ave. at the site of the Festival.

The Festival will be held in the Naches Parkway and the center park area. The stage will between The Seasons Performance Hall (101 N Naches Ave) and the Yakima Pride Office. The fun and festivities will be kicking off at 11am and go until 7pm. Music from many bands from all over the northwest will be in attendance, sharing their craft. Including many from the Yakima area. Entertainment isn't just limited to bands, with the festival to feature drag performances by some of the top names in the northwest.
