If you're a dancer you'll get to perform a 1 to a 2-minute piece that highlights your skills. Singers, please prepare a 1 to 2-minute long piece that must be sung acapella.

When I was 18, I tried out for one of these talent agencies, it's an amazing experience that anyone remotely interested in should try. Want to know a secret? Being prepared to pivot is very important. This means having backup performances to your back-ups. I wanted to sing Etta James's At Last, I felt comfortable with it, and even when three others sang the song before me, I still chose to go for it. Feel so confident in your other choices that it won't matter which song you sing. You'll want to stand out from the crowd so be ready to sing or dance to something that might not have been your first choice but will be a fresh choice for those critiquing you!
