Researchers At MIT Say Social Distancing Should Be 27 Ft – Not 6!
Researchers at MIT (you know, where the smart kids go to school?) are saying that the current standard of 6 ft. of Social Distancing is not enough. Rather it should be 27 ft. in distance as COVID-19 is capable of traveling that far from a sneeze or cough. As the virus is robust and can live longer than most previous viruses.
Transmission of COVID-19 is highly contagious. Sneezing coughing and speaking aloud are common ways of spreading the disease. Earlier this week, the CDC announced a recommendation of wearing cloth masks to slow the spread, along with sneezing and coughing into the inside of your elbow.
