Concert Report: +Live+ & Collective Soul At The White River Amphitheatre
+Live+ and Collective Soul are out touring the country with their Summer Unity Tour, and that tour kicked off its trek in the Pacific Northwest. A very happy listener and a HUGE FAN of Collective Soul was in attendance.
Not only did he capture some amazing photos, but he was kind enough to give us a concert report!
Bringing the 90s back in style with special guests Our Lady Peace and Greylin James Rue, +Live+ and Collective Soul rocked the White River Amphitheatre in Auburn, Washington, for a little over 2 hours, bringing the favs from yesteryear, deep cuts, and some surprises out for the packed crowd!
My buddy Russell Carlson did a great job with a concert review write-up when Collective Soul played in Toppenish, so I knew he'd be going to this show, so I asked if he'd like to give another amazing report, and he did.

If you're first thought when seeing a tour lineup of Our Lady Peace, Collective Soul, and Live was, "The 90's are Back Baby", then this concert was for you!!!
From Mohawks to Baggy Pants . . . This concert rocked it all!!! The Silver Foxes swarmed the venue!!!
The 2-month Summer Unity Tour officially kicked off at The White River Amphitheatre in Auburn, Washington.

Our Lady Peace stepped up the '90s nostalgia by sharing Somewhere Out There!!!
Collective Soul (my favorite) had a mini-family reunion at this opening concert of the tour. In addition to Ed and Dean Rowland (brothers), who, along with Will Turpin, are Collective Soul's mainstays, the crew added Will's son to the keyboards and Ed's 2 sons working the stage crew. And last but not least, Dean's young daughter even joined the stage for hugs all around and some photos.
Live finished the concert with all the classics, All Over You, Lightning Crashes, I Alone, and even shared a previously recorded song tipping the cap to mental health awareness.
All in all, the 90's were well represented and the nostalgia scratched the right itch!!!

Now that you've read Russ's concert review, check out some of the photos he captured from the show below.
