In this day and age of sharing information, you can rely on someone who has reinvented the wheel, and have made it much easier to do the thing you want to do. Need to cut a cake, use dental floss. Tired of having to scrape your windshield, put a towel over it before you go to sleep. If you have a baseball bat in your trunk of your car for protection, keep a glove and ball in there too to help out in your legal defense. You know, good and timely tested tips. We call them #LifeHacks.

With Halloween happening this weekend, I thought I'd show you one of my favorite tricks of the trade I use when lighting a pumpkin. Especially when dealing with an open flame, and having kids around. It can be dangerous, and you want to be as safe as possible. Not to mention with everyone dressed up, some of those costumes can be extremely flammable. Unless you're going as a member of the Fantastic Four, you really don't want to be in a burning type of accident. Of if you plan to have a party with out little ones around, you certainly don't want your sexy Elvira costume with all the hairspray turn out to be a literal flaming red-head! Check out Timmy's #HalloweenHack video below!

Once again, most important thing... don't lose any fingers when carving a pumpkin. If you're using an actual flame for a pumpkin, don't burn anything down. Moderate your candy intake! Be safe! Have fun!
