Goodbye, Sweet Sunshine and Warm Temps
I think it's safe to assume that the majority of the Yakima Valley is absolutely LOVING this sunshine and warm temperatures. The forecast high for Yakima on Thursday was 84! How great is that for April? Well, I hate the to be the bearer of bad news (mainly only doing so because I need to keep up with my website posting obligations LOL), but according to the National Weather Service, between now and Saturday we'll see daytime high temps cool off by nearly 20 degrees. (Boooo!) Highs near 81 on Friday and highs only up to 66 on Saturday with a chance of rain.
On the bright side, as we look ahead to next week, we look to be creeping back up into the mid- to upper 70s & sunshine by midweek! (yayyy!).
