Top 5 Reasons You Shouldn’t be Bored Living in Yakima
July is Anti Boredom-Month, so we wanted to give you 5 reasons not to be bored living in the Yakima Valley. Yakima has so many fun things to do, especially during the summer.

5.) Floating the Yakima River
Free and easy down the river you go, that's right load up a cooler, find a group of friends, and enjoy a five-mile float down the Yakima River. There is no better way to curb boredom than hanging out with friends, having a few cold ones (beer, soda, you pick), and not having to use the bathroom at all while ya float. There are so many things to discover at the Yakima farmers market, fresh produce, freshly cooked food, and home decor and that's only scratching the surface. Yakima's Farmer's market is another freed thing for you to do, the only thing it'll cost you is what you buy from vendors. Go hang out and enjoy the nice weather maybe grab a bite to eat.
