Does Yakima Really Put Jalapeños in EVERYTHING?

This couple I met at my friend's birthday party was asking me about the quirks of living in Yakima. They told me that ever since they moved to the Eastside of the mountains about three years ago, they've noticed that Yakima restaurants put jalapeños in EVERYTHING. Is this really true?

It's time for me to get JALAPEÑO BUSINESS! Hey Yakima Valley Restauranteurs, I'm coming for you! I'm looking over several of your menus, and I'm talking about area restaurants from Yakima to Selah to the Lower Valley to find out the TRUTH behind this vicious delicious rumor!

My friend Fionna just told me that she recently had a jalapeño hot dog on the Rez and that it was delicious. I want to know where she got it so that I can get one, too!

I guess we DO put jalapenos in everything, from foods to drinks! In fact, the next major or minor sports team we get, I think we should name them the Yakima Jalapeños!

If you cant take the heat then get out the...city? (Well, thats a mean thing to say so I would never suggest that unless you're one of my enemies.) On a side note, my Facebook friend named Dawn says that when she goes over to the Westside (Seattle), they put Chipotle Ranch on everything!

I guess turnabout is a fair play!
