Cascade Garden’s Mother’s Day Faire Recap
With this past Sunday being Mother's Day, many celebrated the person who brought us into this world. That same person may have also said "behave or I'll take you out of this world!" (Okay, maybe it was only my mom who said that). The card, flowers, and dinner to celebrate your mom is all good, but once it's done, it's pretty much over. Luckily Cascade Garden was able to, not only do the flowers, entertainment and food, but was able to make memories and help out an amazing cause all while celebrating Mother's Day!
Cascade Garden's Mother's Day Spring Faire
The Mother's Day Spring Faire is an annual event that celebrates not only Mother's Day, but also, LIFE and growing in general. This year marked it's return after a 2 year absence (due to... well, obvious reasons), and it was an amazing return. A super way to celebrate Mother's Day, including a beautiful sight of nature celebrating the holiday as well, with a mama bird taking care of her babies in a very low nest.
The Mother's Day Fundraiser
The event wasn't just to celebrate Mother's Day, but also to help out a great organization. Voices For Children, a nonprofit foundation which helps out the children in foster care in the Yakima Valley, was there to educate and to offer support to families of in our city and valley.
The fun at The Mother's Day Spring Faire was there in full force. Flowers, food, mimosas, local vendors, live entertainment including performances by Jayleigh Ann & The Lost Boys & RAQs of Yakima (to name a few).
