Several local community groups have been meeting up together to show solidarity for the local, state, and national movement that is demanding equity and equality in racial justice and for a complete overhaul of the criminal justice system.

Systemic injustice is a festering and lingering wound that has not been rectified in America in over 400 years. Protesters are demanding their local goverments make the necessary changes, knowing that it takes everyone in the community pitching in however they can to break up the status quo.

Local community organizers, Silvia Leija and Cristina Ortega, are supporting Yakima youth to host this event.
