Your Ballot Due August 6 for Primary Election
Yakima County Auditor Charles Ross says of the more than 47,000 ballots sent to registered voters in the county 7,314 or 15 percent of the ballots have been returned. A 20 to 25 percent turnout or less is expected for the Primary election Tuesday, Aug. 6.
You can send your ballot in the mail. Drop boxes are also located in the county.
24-hour drive-up drop boxes are located in Yakima, Sunnyside and Toppenish. Drop boxes are also at city halls in Selah, Granger and Harrah. There's also a drop box located across the street from the Yakima County Courthouse on Martin Luther King Jr. Way. Your ballot is due at 8 p.m. Aug. 6, primary election day.
For the first time this year there is a satellite auditor's office in the Sunnyside Neighborhood Health Building at 617 Scoon Road.
