Not too long ago, I was honored to be asked to help judge the first ever Yakima's Got Talent competition. The other two judges were Melissa Labberton, an esteemed Yakima community member who has done everthing from musical peformances to guest journalist for the Yakima Herald and Yakima Magazine; and John Gasperetti, a legend in Yakima who is best known for his former restaurants, Gasperettis and G Spot, as well as his Gasperetti's Floral Design shop and those delightful Cabaret shows that he puts on every year! Another fabulous Yakima's Got Talent judge is the beautiful, chic, and classy Alice Wyles from Yakima Symphony Orchestra and Studio 16 Spa & Salon Aveda fame, and Nina Ummel, owner of Ummelina Spa Retreat Yakima Valley!
