Now more than ever people are realizing how important Internet access is. It's no longer just for entertainment for every day life including school and work. If you need access to the Internet and don't have access at home the local libraries may still be closed, but they have their WiFi open to the public to use as needed in thanks to the Washington State Department of Commerce.

They have an interactive WiFi hotspot map so you can find the closest to you. Yakima and other nearby towns have the libraries listed but others places may be available, too, including Harrah schools, Wapato schools and more.

These aren't the only wifi hotspots in town. Several businesses also offer free wifi, but these were listed from Washington State as another option to keep you going as needed.
