I don't typically get excited about going to the fair unless I"m checking out the photo and food exhibits. One time, I got pretty pumped to take my then-toddler to see Sean Kingston and Boyz II Men (okay, I was the one who wanted to see them). I got really bummed out when I had to miss En Vogue when they performed at the CWSF a few years ago.

I will be the first to admit, there are times when I want to march into the State Fair Park's office and demand a seat on their Music Committee so that I can make sure next year the fair brings in a band/performer that I want to see. I do know that it all comes down to which musical acts the State Fair Board can actually afford (keep in mind that artist fees to bring in those coveted performers goes up every year)! I don't know how those big cities do it, but I'm going to make it my mission to find out! Can we get Google to sponsor our fair next year? Let's shoot for some Google sponsorship money! (I kid, I kid.)

Washington State Fair is bringing Billy Idol, Keith Urban, Weezer, The Beach Boys (who have already been to the CWSF), Ciara, Sir Mix-A-Lot, Hall & Oates, Foreigner, Charlie Wilson, Brad Paisley and more. Great lineup!

Evergreen State Fair's lineup includes Aloe Blacc, Switchfoot, Newsboys, and Brett Young.

Benton-Franklin County Fair welcomes Cheap Trick, Dustin Lynch, 3 Doors Down and others.

Here's the lineup for our 2019 Central Washington State Fair: Josh Turner (country), Nelly (hip-hop), Fidel Rueda (regional Mexican), The Temptations (urban oldies), Tracy Byrd & Shenandoah feat. Marty Raybon (country), Night Ranger (classic rock), Scotty McCreery (country), Creedence Clearwater Revisited (classic rock), Banda Machos (regional Mexican).

Let's be completely honest here, I am interested in seeing The Temptations!

And Night Ranger's "Sister Christian" was my JAM back in the day!
