Sunday: A chance of snow before 10 am, then a slight chance of rain and snow between 10 am and 1 pm, then a slight chance of rain after 1 pm. Snow level rising to 2200 feet in the afternoon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 41. The chance of precipitation is 40%.

One should expect some encounters with snow and winter weather in the Washington mountain passes this weekend, including some typically windy conditions at times. According to the Washington State Department of Transportation, here's what is forecast on Snoqualmie Pass:

Friday: Sunny. High near 33, with temperatures falling to around 27 in the afternoon. Wind chill values as low as -2. East southeast wind 10 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph.
