There is a lot of stuff happening in the Yakima Valley during the MLK Day weekend!

Over 8 planned events this year to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in Yakima and Toppenish.

21-year-old Moises Bello-Medina of Yakima has been charged with 1st Degree Unlawful possession of a firearm, Theft of a motor vehicle, attempt to elude law enforcement and 2nd Degree felony Assault

Activities are planned for MLK Day in Yakima and Toppenish beginning January 10th through January 17th, 2022.

June 19th is Juneteenth. Black Independence Day falls on a Saturday this year.

Today's theme is "Power in the People...Freedom, Equality, and Prosperity". There can be none of these things if we don't start getting our STUFF together-as a community and as a nation.
