The corner of 40th and Tieton has been a bit of an eye sore these past few years. Albertson's stood tall until they closed that location. Jack in the Box seems to still be doing well but the old Albertson's building remains empty. There was talks of Gold's Gym going in that location right before the pandemic started but seems that fell through as well. Recent signs indicate something is finally going in.

Streetside on 40th there's a sign that one side says Tired of LOOKING at an Empty Building?
The other side says something to the effect of 'something is coming' in a matter of words or less.

What would it be? A new grocery store? Maybe a new gym? An arcade?

Only time will tell. At this point I'll take anything over an empty building.
