SANTA PAWS IS COMIN' TO TOWN!

My daughter, Willow, and I got into a slight argument during the Thanksgiving Holiday week because we were heading to Valley Mall to check out the Small Business Saturday event upstairs in the old food court area (presented by She Bully Events and Wildjay fashion boutique). She wanted to bring along our cat, Fluffy the Mayor and I gave her a firm, "NO!" That no turned into a maybe and then a yes...

Willow brought Fluffy along for trick or treating this past Halloween. She has a peach backpack that has a huge bubble in the back, just the perfect size for a small animal. Fluffy was the hit of the neighborhood as we walked amongst the Halloween crowds in the Barge-Chestnut area. At first, I had told her she couldn't bring Fluffy along but I conceded and Willow was over the moon.

I asked the mall's marketing manager, Jacob, if it was okay for Willow to bring Fluffy to the mall and he said as long as Fluffy stayed inside the backpack and other mall vendors we visited were okay with it, it was fine with him.

Fluffy was the hit of the mall as young kids as well as their parents oohed and ahhed over the cute little black cat hanging out in the back of Willow's backpack. She was so proud of Fluffy and loved showing him off to anyone who passed us by in the mall.

Even Santa was excited to meet Fluffy*! Santa Paws is in town at Valley Mall.
