The 15-year-old suspect, identified as Jessy James Lee Krikorian, Jr. is being held in the Yakima County Juvenile Jail. His bail is set at $500,000. During an appearance in Juvenile court on Thursday Krikorian Jr. was charged with second-degree murder, nine cases of first-degree-assault, unlawful possession of a firearm and carrying a firearm on school property. Two days after the shooting Yakima County Prosecutor Joe Brusic decided against asking a judge to move the case to adult court so Krikorian, Jr. will face charges as a juvenile.
