Nothing but Sunshine in the Forecast for the Next Week or So!
Yay, my evil plan finally worked: I begged the rain to go away, and it did!
Now that all the blistery, winter weather and rainstorms have disappeared, can we finally get around to our "300 days of sunshine" that makes the Yakima Valley famous?
Great news: The National Weather Service is showing nothing but sunshine in the forecast for the next week or so!
Temperatures will be hovering around the mid-sixties to low 70's, and after Thursday night (April 25th), the wind should be dying down.
Guess it's time to break out the barbecue grills and Daisy Duke cut-off jean shorts, OR NOT!

Go to the Pool
It still we be a bit too cold for the Franklin Park outdoor pool to open up (they'll be open June through August), but Lions Pool is open year-round if you're hankering for a swim day!

Go to the Park
Some other fun outdoor stuff you can do by yourself or with family and friends is a lovely picnic out at the remodeled Randall Park (1399 S 48th Ave) but I suggest you don't feed the ducks; the bread can turn moldy and can make them get ill!

Ride Your Motorcycle
This gorgeous weather is now absolutely perfect to ride your motorcycle on that windy road to the city of Tieton.

Ride a Bike or Try Rollerblading
You can also go for a bicycle ride or roller-blade on the Yakima Greenway.

Go for a Nature Hike
Take a sweet hike in the Cowiche Canyon area near the Wildridge Vineyard Winery (250 Ehler Road). Bring some water!
