The city of Yakima has made it easier to pay court payments with a new drop box located outside the main entrance of the Richard A. Zais Jr. Center for Law and Justice at 200 South 3rd Street.
“We implemented the drop box as an option for the public so they do not have to wait in line to make payments,” says Municipal Court Services Manager Linda Hagert. City official say the drop box does not accept cash payments.

YOU CAN ALSO CALL OR SEND IN YOUR PAYMENT TO THE CITY

If you can't get to the drop box a press release says the court continues to accept payments over the phone. You can call 575-3050 from 8:00AM to 4:00PM, Monday through Friday. You can send payments in the mail to;

Richard Zais Justice Center
200 South 3rd Street
Yakima, WA 98901

Finally you can walk into the center and pay your payment. The customer service window at the Justice Center is open 9:00AM to 11:00AM and 1:30PM to 3:30PM, Monday through Friday.

YAKIMA COUNTY ALSO HAS A DRIVE-UP OPTION

The county is also making easier to make payments. The county Drive-Thru Facility was installed at the courthouse earlier this year. The facility was installed to better serve those who want to deliver documents, pay fees and do other business.
County officials say the facility makes it easier for everyone to do business in the courthouse without having to find a parking space or go through security.  The Drive-Thru is open to the public Monday-Friday from 9:00AM to 4:00PM Currently, they are only accepting property tax payments by cash or check. In the coming months other services will be added like fines, fees and license tabs.

The facility is located on the side of the courthouse at 217 N 1st Street.
