It's going to be incredible and they're showing the Incredibles too...er...two...also!

It's music and movies this summer in Yakima area parks.  From a city news release here's the skinny on the schedule.

The Summer Sunset Concert Series at Franklin Park kicks off on Friday, July 12^th with Bart Roderick & Friends. Other performances – all from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Fridays – include Camille Bloom on July 19^th, Snaccs on July 26^th, Ian McFeron Band on August 2^nd, Cosmos’s Dream on August 9^th and the Joe Brooks Quartet on August 16^th.

Viva La Musica,  5:00 pm to 7:00 pm each Sunday evening.begins Sunday, July 14^th at Miller Park, on the corner of North 4^th Street and East E Street, with Rebeldes de la Sierra. Miller Park will also host Victor Manuel y su Nueva Juventud on July 21^st, and Los Plebes de Tierra Caliente on July 28^th.

Martin Luther King Jr. Park, on the corner of South 8^th Street and East Beech Street, will feature Viva La Musica concerts by Liberados on August 4^th, La Cuarta Generacion DTC on August 11^th, and Senal de Oaxaco on August 18^th.

Viva La Musica’s finale for this summer will be from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on September 15^th at Miller Park. The September 15^th finale will feature entertainment by Extremo Sierreno and Mariachi Huenachi.

As for the movies, the Outdoor Summer Cinema Series returns Sunday, July 14^th to the City’s Chesterley Park. The movies will each begin at sunset, about 8:30 pm, on six consecutive Sundays. The film series begins with “Incredibles 2” on July 14^th and continues with “Beethoven” on July 21^st, “Kung Fu Panda” on July 28^th, “Finding Nemo” on August 4^th, “Ralph Breaks the Internet” on August 11^th, and “Shazam” on August 19^th.
