It's going to be incredible and they're showing the Incredibles too...er...two...also!

It's music and movies this summer in Yakima area parks.  From a city news release here's the skinny on the schedule.

The Summer Sunset Concert Series at Franklin Park kicks off on Friday, July 12th with Bart Roderick & Friends. Other performances – all from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Fridays – include Camille Bloom on July 19th, Snaccs on July 26th, Ian McFeron Band on August 2nd, Cosmos’s Dream on August 9th and the Joe Brooks Quartet on August 16th.

Viva La Musica,  5:00 pm to 7:00 pm each Sunday evening.begins Sunday, July 14th at Miller Park, on the corner of North 4th Street and East E Street, with Rebeldes de la Sierra. Miller Park will also host Victor Manuel y su Nueva Juventud on July 21st, and Los Plebes de Tierra Caliente on July 28th.

Martin Luther King Jr. Park, on the corner of South 8th Street and East Beech Street, will feature Viva La Musica concerts by Liberados on August 4th, La Cuarta Generacion DTC on August 11th, and Senal de Oaxaco on August 18th.

Viva La Musica’s finale for this summer will be from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on September 15th at Miller Park. The September 15th finale will feature entertainment by Extremo Sierreno and Mariachi Huenachi.

As for the movies, the Outdoor Summer Cinema Series returns Sunday, July 14th to the City’s Chesterley Park. The movies will each begin at sunset, about 8:30 pm, on six consecutive Sundays. The film series begins with “Incredibles 2” on July 14th and continues with “Beethoven” on July 21st, “Kung Fu Panda” on July 28th, “Finding Nemo” on August 4th, “Ralph Breaks the Internet” on August 11th, and “Shazam” on August 19th.
