Missing Yakima Woman Found After Days of Searching

61-year-old Terri Berglund-Dallman of Yakima, missing since last Friday has been found dead. Yakima County Coroner Jim Curtice says Berglund-Dallman died from "environmental exposure."

Berglund-Dallman was last seen Friday February 11 at her Yakima home

Berglund-Dallman, who had Parkinson's Disease was first reported missing from her home on Tieton Drive on February 13 when family members told authorities she hadn't been seen since Friday February 11.
At that time Yakima County Sheriff's Deputies searched for her noticing she had left her cell phone, wallet, and medications at home. She did not own a car. After not being able to find her Yakima County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue was called out to conduct a larger and more thorough search on February 14.

Searchers scoured the area around her home for 4 days without finding her

A press release from the Yakima County Sheriff's Office says "Yakima County Search and Rescue searched for Terrie for 4 days and was assisted by the Civil Air Patrol, Yakima County Office of Emergency Management, Kittitas County SAR, Pierce County SAR, Klickitat County SAR, Grant County Sheriff’s office, the Red Cross, and Washington State Emergency Operations Center Planning Team. Throughout the operational period, searchers located multiple pieces of evidence indicating that Terrie was in the Cowiche Mountain area."

Authorities say her son found her after following some advice of a searcher

After days of searching 61-year-old Terri Berglund-Dallman was found by one of her sons after he followed a lead found by a search and rescue member. No foul play was involved in her death.
