Stop by the McDonald's (19 E. Yakima Ave.) at 8 a.m. to celebrate United Way's Day of Action Volunteer Breakfast!

It's a "kickoff block party" that you won't want to miss!

The Eisenhower High School Jazz Band will be playing live, plus all United Way volunteers will be treated to a breakfast sandwich.

If you want to volunteer but don't have a lot of time to donate, bring by some children's clothing (especially coats, hats or gloves), or some school supplies on your way to work, taking the kids to school, etc.

This event begins the United Way of Central Washington's fall campaign, and they have volunteer opportunities available with other local service organizations including the Salvation Army, Rod's House, Catholic Charities, Love, Inc., and People For People.
