LaSalle High School Selling Christmas Trees Until They’re Gone
Christmas is almost here and if you are still looking for that special Christmas tree, check out the lot at LaSalle High School (3000 Lightning Way, Union Gap).
Sabra Nelson, one of the dedicated parents who has been braving 20-degree temperatures since last weekend in efforts to help sell the trees for the school, says that the Christmas trees "were donated by a sweet little old lady in West Valley who wanted to give back to education".
The trees range in height from 4 feet to 8 feet tall and are being sold for $20 each. (That seems like practically a steal!) Money raised from the sales of the Christmas trees benefits students at LaSalle High.
Nelson says she will personally be outside selling trees today (Tuesday, December 17th) "from noon until they’re gone or when it gets dark [outside]", and she hopes that all the remaining trees will sell quickly (no doubt so that she can go back inside where it's warm).
