Yakima Shreds & Meds Event Set for April 25
Your next chance to help safeguard against identity theft and help reduce and protect against drug use in the Yakima Valley is coming up in April, and we have all the details about the next Shreds & Meds Day!
Identity Theft Is A Big Deal In Washington
I’ve been the victim of identity theft 2 times. Fortunately for me, I was able to notice the issues and put a quick stop to it before it could get way out of hand and be a trouble for years.
Looking at identity theft in Washington (as a whole), our state is one of the better ones. According to recent stats from our friends at WalletHub, the Evergreen State ranks as the 41st state in the country for identity theft crimes. I firmly believe it’s because of great events like the Shreds & Meds that help keep Washington for climbing those ranks.
