My Personal Kitchen Life Hack
So, my hack I thought was pretty creative until I saw what our listeners chimed in with. Mine is nothing new, but I'd like to think it's a bit of 'Outside the bottle' thinking.
A Squeezable Oil Bottle
My personal Kitchen Hack is a simple one: when I'm done with my squeeze bottle of ketchup, I clean it out very (VERY) well, and I use that for my cooking oil.
This way it helps me from accidentally pouring (and wasting) more oil than I need.
I used to use a syrup bottle since it looked fancier and had the little handle, but the ketchup bottle just held more.
I also once used a Mrs. Butterworth syrup bottle, but seeing her with oil colored liquid looked pretty freaky, so it was back to a good old empty bottle of ketchup.
