Want to make Money? Dust off the Knick-Knacks, Yakima’s Huge Yard Sale Is Coming

One man's junk is another man's treasure. That is so very, very true in my house. I was raised on yard and garage sales; some of my fondest memories are going out with my mom and grandmother all around the valley, searching for the perfect toy. Usually, G.I. Joe's & Masters of the Universe is what I scored back then. One of the few regrets I have in my life is not taking my grandmother out yard selling (she passed away before I got my driver's license). Even though she's not here to continue the hunt, it's one that my wife and I still enjoy today.

The MOTHER of all Yard sales is coming back to Yakima! Check it out on June 3rd at the State Fair Park. There is no telling what you will find: furniture, clothes, toys, collectibles, etc. One of my all-time favorite finds was a ventriloquist dummy, which was brand new. On Amazon, it was selling for $65. I paid $5. Yeah, you can score those types of deals at yard sales.
