Tour The Fire Station & Eat Spaghetti In April!

It’s so cool when community events like this get announced. It gives a nice change of pace for people and allows neighbors to get reacquainted with the folks who are helping keep us safe.

In a Facebook post from the Yakima County Fire District 4 – East Valley, along with the Union Gap Police Department, read:

“We are bringing back the Spaghetti Feed to the Union Gap fire station!!! We even found the original spaghetti sauce recipe from when the Union Gap Fire Department put on this event.”

When & Where Is The Spaghetti Feed

Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 25th, kicking off at 4 pm and going strong until 7 pm.

I was curious how much it was going to cost and the purpose of the event, so I reached out to the Yakima County Fire District 4 – East Valley.

“There will be a small fee that will help cover the costs of the event, and everything extra will go towards the Volunteer Firefighters Association.

The overall goal of the event is to interact with the public, provide some public education, and open up the fire station to the community it serves.”
– Chief Lamoureux.

Have a great meal, tour the fire station, and have some fun with the firefighters. It sounds like a fun time in Union Gap!
