What are your family traditions when it comes to celebrating the New Year? Hanging with friends? A night out on the town? Or going to bed early because when you get down to it, January 1st, really isn't going to be much different than December 31st, (depending on how you spend the night before.

Celebrating New Years Then Vs Now

When I was younger, and I mean, really young, like 10 or 11, my New Years tradition was setting the microwave timer to go off at the same time Dick Clark dropped the Big Apple in New York! What can I say, I was young, dumb, and adorable.

Now it seems like my New Year's Eve traditions are hanging out at home with my wife and our little dog. We usually kick back with pizza and a movie (or play Trivia Murder Party).

Finishing them both up at around 10 pm, realize that we're both tired and going to bed around 10:30. Oh, the joys of being married and getting older.
