The State Fair Park is excited to announce 'Holiday Light Fest' has been extended and will be open for an additional four days! The extended dates are Thursday, December 17 through Sunday, December 20th.

The First Annual Holiday Light Fest has been a huge success. Yakimans are loving the festive lights, themes and he positivity this has brought us! So much so that the State Fair Park is extending its run.

This unique drive-thru experience features 12 festive and holiday-themed scenes made up from 20 miles of lights covering the fairgrounds. Themes include Candyland, the North Pole featuring two of Santa’s reindeer, Dasher and Comet and many more! There's also a mailbox for letters to Santa if your kids want to drop those off in person.  And Santa will be there in person!

“It's a thrill to see the community's excitement and joy for our very first Holiday Light Fest. The staff, our Board and volunteers at State Fair Park worked hard to make this event something special that we will build upon for years to come.” Said, Kathy Kramer, President, and CEO.

This is a great way to enjoy the holidays while keeping you and your family safe in your car. The kids love it and we are looking forward to this being an annual event.

Gates will open at 4:30 pm with the drive-thru hours from 5 pm – 9 pm each night. To enter the event, turn North on 18th Street from Nob Hill Blvd and enter at Gate 15, which is located on Pacific Ave (by the Yakima County Baseball Stadium).

One car, one ticket. Admission is $10 per vehicle and $20 for limos and buses. Group discount tickets are available.

You can't have an event like this without some hot cocoa and hot cider. A drive-up concession area will be available to make the experience even more magical.

Hope to see you there!
