It is hard to get kids to listen sometimes. Grounding them -- even taking away their electronics -- just doesn't always work. Kids nowadays think that their electronics are the most important things in their life. Most of the kids say they cannot live without them.

So what if parents just smashed those precious electronics to smithereens?

The parents most likely purchased the electronics in the first place, so I guess they could just destroy them if they wanted to.
