Blondie and Garbage already have at least one thing in common: legendary frontwomen, in the form of Debbie Harry and Shirley Manson, who've shown each other plenty of mutual love over the years.

And as of this summer, they'll have another thing in common: a joint tour.

The co-headlining North American Rage and Rapture Tour will kick off on July 5 in Saratoga, CA and carry the bands through several cities around the country including Las Vegas, New York City and Orlando, concluding with their show on August 12 in Dallas.

The groups have recruited John Doe & Exene Cervenka to open for them during the first leg, with Deap Vally opening during the second leg of the tour.

Tickets go on-sale beginning next Friday (Feb. 17) at 10 AM local time, with pre-sale tickets available now (password: RAGEANDRAPTURE) in some markets. More dates are expected to be announced shortly.

Earlier this month, Blondie announced their upcoming 11th studio album, Pollinator, set for release in May. Garbage released their latest studio album, Strange Little Birds, back in June of 2016.

"I was so honored though, to induct Debbie Harry, who I have the most immense respect for and love for—for so many different reasons, but most of all because she’s an incredible person and an amazing woman. She’s incredibly generous to all other young artist who have followed in her wake, and there have been so many of us. She has never treated anyone with jealousy or with any kind of superiority. She’s just a gorgeous creature, who deserves to be remembered," Shirley said of Debbie in an interview with PopMatters.
