Due to the increase in covid-19 cases in Washington, Governor Jay Inslee issued a travel advisory.  Anyone arriving in the Evergreen state is encouraged to self-quarantine for 14 days.  And, residents are advised to stay near home.  It's an effort to slow the spread of the virus.

Both California and Oregon Governors issued the advisory in their states, as well.

“COVID-19 cases have doubled in Washington over the past two weeks. This puts our state in as dangerous a position today as we were in March,” Inslee said. “Limiting and reducing travel is one way to reduce further spread of the disease. I am happy to partner with California and Oregon in this effort to help protect lives up and down the West Coast.”

I don't know about you, but as Washingtonians are currently battling severe winter weather in the upper elevations with heavy snowfall and high winds, traveling at this time, doesn't really appeal to me.
