Freedom Pantry for Veterans is a fantastic Yakima non-profit that specializes in assisting the veterans of our valley with food and more when in need. Annually they hold, "Stand Down" Veterans Benefits Fair at the Yakima Sundome and the dessert bar for the veterans is one of the main attractions!

What Will Be Taking Place for Veterans?

There will be over 1,000 boxes filled with food, meat, veggies, hygiene supplies, and more. You don't have to need anything to come and mingle with the community.

The event will offer over 100 different services including Federal, State, and local services featuring medical services and screenings, flu shots, dental assistance, housing, and homeless support, civilian clothing, coats, blankets, and men's and women's haircuts.

There will be a career fair providing employment assistance with VA Claims processing, veterinarian, and military issues for the homeless as well as counseling services and referrals.

How Can Local Bakers and Dessert Makers Get Involved?
