A cheery accountant at Central Washington University in Ellensburg is now the toast of the town after her dazzling performance on the TV game show Jeopardy! last night.

Tracy Pitzel gave us her first exclusive interview on the air this morning describing her exciting appearance on the popular show where she nearly knocked off current champion Matt Amodio. Amodio went into the match against Tracy riding a 23-game winning streak en route to amassing over $825,000 in prize money.

Pitzel told us that she gathered with friends and family at a tavern in Ellensburg to witness her performance and find out her fate. The crowd was so energized by her gameplay that it caused the entire establishment to have to pivot. She explains what happened in the bar in our chat with her below.

As with most game show contestants, Pitzel was sworn to secrecy as to how she fared. Was she able to stay mum despite bar patrons trying to bribe her with free drinks?
