Easton’s First Thunderstorm

Thunderstorms could be heard all over the valley yesterday and in some places, people were even blessed with hail... for some younger folks it was even their first thunderstorm, like Easton.

For me, I am not a fan of the sound of thunder (full disclosure, yes it scares me) but I love the storm. The dark clouds that roll in, the eerie quietness, the rain-- I love that but I could do without the booming thunder sounds. However, yesterday was different for me as I sat in a chair and watched as Easton--my youngest look towards the storm in amazement. Yesterday was Easton's first thunderstorm and he loved it, from the first crack of thunder with his widened eyes to the last.
