Papa John’s in Yakima Closed? [PHOTOS]

It looks like Papa John's in Yakima is no more. Tuesday we noticed something wasn't right when trying to order a pizza online and the Yakima location was not showing up on their official app.

At first, we thought there might be a glitch with the app, but we later noticed that none of the daily specials were available. Then we noticed the website was not allowing us to order anything off the menu.

So we called the store to see what was going on and no one answered the phone -- as a matter of fact, we kept getting the hold music while we waited on the line to see if anyone would pick up. After about 10 minutes we gave up and decided to go down to the store and see what was going on.

Unfortunately, when we arrived we noticed the store was empty. All the equipment minus one of the shelves was missing. There was no notice on the window. It was like they packed up in the middle of the night and just left.

This is not the first time Papa John's has closed up shop in the Yakima Valley. The same location closed its doors nearly a decade ago -- only to reopen a year later with new owners. We have reached out to the corporate office regarding this matter and will update this story once we hear back.
