Did you all hear that Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff will be visiting Yakima next week to talk about the Covid Relief bill?

Fresh off visits across America to promote the White House administration's "Help Is Here" tour, the nation's first-ever Second Gentleman is making more stops to promote COVID-19 economic relief legislation.

King5 News reports that Second Gentleman Emhoff is slated to be in Yakima on Tuesday, April 6th. There are no other details provided as to exactly where Emhoff will be or if his visits will be open to the public, so stay tuned right here for the latest updates.
Second Gentleman Emhoff has recently been visiting hospitals, medical centers, food banks, and vaccine sites in other states, so it is likely that he will continue that modus operandi here in Yakima.

There's a possibility that he will visit a community health center. Could one of these sites be the place where Emhoff chooses to visit?

  • Community Health Plan of Central Washington, 1806 W. Lincoln Ave
  • Neighborhood Health Clinic, 102 S Naches Ave
  • Yakima Neighborhood Health Services, 12 S 8th Street
  • Yakima Neighborhood Health Services, 904 E Arlington St
  • Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic, 602 E Nob Hill Blvd

Last week, Washington state governor, Jay Inslee, announced that FEMA has approved his request for a mass drive-thru vaccination site location at State Fair Park (1301 S Fair Ave), it is most likely that the Second Gentleman will host his appearance there, but mums the word for now.

As soon as we hear anything, we will let you know!
