Repurpose, recycle and reuse. This is a call to action for all budding and current artists who have a knack for collecting items and creating something new out of them.

Maybe it's a piece of wood that you've turned into a bench OR you could take all the old spoons you've found and turn them into a hangable art piece. The options are limitless and truly in this case, what's one person's trash is another person's treasure. Now is the time to spread the word, flex your creative muscles, and make a difference.

The 5th Annual Upcycled Fundraiser Event September 23rd, 2021

Yakima Valley Partners Habitat for Humanity will be hosting its 5th Annual Upcycled fundraiser event where we celebrate local and regional artists who have repurposed, recycled, reclaimed, or reimagined materials to create art. All proceeds from the event help Habitat build decent, affordable homes. While our auction focuses on “upcycled,” recycled, or repurposed items; it is not a requirement.

Maybe you have something already laying in wait for this OR you want to create something new. There's nothing wrong with testing out your ideas and even putting something together for next year. Sign yourself up or get ready to bid on Yakima Valley's coolest and most unique items, all to benefit the Yakima Valley's Habitat for Humanity location.

The 2020 County Health Rankings values were calculated using mortality counts from the 2016-2018 National Center for Health Statistics. The U.S. Census 2019 American Community Survey and America's Health Rankings Senior Report 2019 data were also used to provide demographics on the senior population of each state and the state's rank on senior health care, respectively.
