Make Your Own Romance Novel Book Title in Honor of Danielle Steel
I know that it's not "Throwback Thursday" or "Flashback Friday", but follow me down Nostalgia Lane. When I was in middle and high school during the '80s and '90s, my idea of a romance novel was reading Sweet Valley High books, but I had thought about checking out one of those steamy Danielle Steel books from the library. (My parents said I was forbidden to read them.) I wasn't that into Nancy Drew mysteries as a kid, but if I had been, THIS is the one book I would have loved to have read (or any of these.)
Romance novelist Danielle Steel is turning 72 years old today (Wednesday). Some of her books were so popular, they were turned into made-for-TV-movies. In honor of her immense success writing spicy books about uninhibited lust and greed and bedazzled jewel thieves, I thought it would be fitting to talk about some of the titles of novels she's had over the years.
Titles such as:
- THE KLONE AND I
- PASSION'S PROMISE
- A GOOD WOMAN
- THE SINS OF THE MOTHER
- SUNSET IN ST. TROPEZ
- LUSTY MUSTY TUESDAY (Oh, wait. That was the novel I wrote.)
Anyway, it seems that over the years, for some of the books that Danielle Steel wrote it was like she just gave up trying to get a creative title and she got right to the point with it.
Titles such as:
- DADDY (What the heck? A romance novel called Daddy? Is this Danielle Steel or V.C. Andrews?)
- AWARD
- COUNTRY
- SECRETS
- FAIRYTALE
- SPY
- BETRAYAL
- HAPPY BIRTHDAY
- LEGACY
- ECHOES
