Not long ago, I was at a place where somebody sang "Time After Time" at karaoke night. That is such a classic song!

Cyndi Lauper really put out some great hits during the 80s and 90s, didn't she!

Fast forward to this week, Live Nation has announced that Cyndi Lauper is going to swing by Seattle on her farewell tour!

What a fun show that is going to be!

I loved Cyndi Lauper so much as a tween, I think I even named one of my Barbie dolls, Cyndi (yes, that's with an 'i').

Cyndi has such an original vibe and has inspired kids (and adults) like me to embrace their originality and uniqueness. She taught us that it was cool to not be "cool."

When I think of Cyndi Lauper, I think of bangles, glow-in-the-dark bracelets, wildly colored hair, wearing loud color clothes, like fluorescents and bright pastels. What do you think about?
