The Yakima City Council meets on the phone Tuesday where the city will hold the second public hearing on the 2021 Preliminary Budget.
The meeting starts at 5:30 p.m. at yakimawa.gov.
The council has a short agenda. Council members will get an update on COVID-19 and they'll talk about asking the governor for funding for Miller Park upgrades.
The council will also hold a hearing on the 2021 Preliminary Budget.
According to the city of Yakima;
"The following precautions are in place for the November 17th regular meeting due to COVID-19:

    The meeting will be conducted via speakerphone and Zoom.
    Since Yakima City Hall is closed to public access, no community members can attend in person.
    There will be no opportunity for verbal communications, with the exception of a public hearing. (See information below).
    E-mail ccouncil2@yakimawa.gov to provide written comment to the City Council. Written comments received by 3:00 pm on Tuesday, November 17th, will be provided to the City Council prior to the meeting.

The second public hearing on the 2021 Preliminary Budget is at 6:00 pm Tuesday night.
